Brief  Introduction

　 The Research Center for Information Technology of Sports and Health is an important scientific research unit in bionic perception and intelligence disciplines of the Institute of Intelligent Machines (IIM), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).

　 The center aims at the significant national needs for the people’s health and competitive sports field, and takes human body movement rules, population fitness test, physical assessment, sub-health early warning and exercise intervention methods as the research object. The center investigates and develops related detection, analysis, evaluation and guidance system of human body movement rules and health management with information acquisition, mechanics, biological engineering, bionics, cybernetics and other theories as guides, and the sensing technology, human-machine interface, pattern recognition, embedded technology and network control technology as research methods.
